Hostage

そして２本目はHostageを映画館で見た。主演のBruce Willisはアクションヒーロー役がキマッてた。ＮＨＫで放送してた「こちらブルームーン探偵社」の時から変わってないねー。んまぁ、あれって２０年前のＴＶ番組やったんや! びびります。 この映画にはDemi Mooreとの間に出来た実娘Rumer Willis もBruceの娘役で出てた。話の筋がちょっと予測できちゃったけど、結構スリルがあって怖かった。 Then we watched the second film, “Hostage”, in a theater. この週末、映画を２本観た。１本はＤＶＤで「Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason」。2001年に公開された「Bridget Jones’s Diary」 の続編。率直に言って、前作に比べて、面白くなかった。ありえんやろーっ!ていう結末でした。ハンサムなColin Firthを見れるのはグッドでした。この映画の中でブリジットが住んでいた街は私達が住んでいたBorough（バラァと読みます）だと説明された時、私達は「あれ、Borough やって！」 とハイになっていました。 We watched 2 films this weekend. イースター休暇（４連休！）の前夜にパブ・クロールしようと先週決めた。ウィキペディアによると、パブ・クロールとはグループで一夜のうちにパブを何軒もはしごすることとある。パブの国、イギリスでは「ロンドン地下鉄パブ・クロール」というのがある。地下鉄環状線の各駅で、駅から一番近いパブで飲む。２０駅あれば、２０杯飲むことになる。日本に帰ったら、大阪の環状線でやってみないと♪ Last week, we decided to do a pub crawl on the night before the Easter holiday (4 days off!). OFF-KAI

在バン・ブロガー　オフ会　デビュー！ 所謂「オフ会」という集まりに参加した。この言葉を聞いたとき、ウィキペディアに行って、「オフラインミーティング」という意味だということが分かった。ふむふむ。バンクーバーに住んでいるブロガーの方々、yukunさん, toonieさん, green_doriさん, cheery_sheepさんに会った。その日は残業で、その集まりに２０分も遅れてしまった。Yale townにある日本料理のカフェバー汁べゑまで走る走る。このバーのことはよく聞いていたが、行ったことなかった。とってもおっされーなとこで、ウェイターやウェイトレスもキュートだった。(どこ見とん！) I went to a meeting, so called “Off-kai”. Community Garden

リッチモンド市から畑を借りている。賃貸料は１年間４０ドル。文句のない価格でしょ？大きさは３ｍｘ７ｍ。前の畑には２０１０年冬季オリンピックのためにスピードスケート用リンクが建つので、新しく作られたコミュニティガーデンへお引越し。昨日は自分の畑の場所を決めに行った。母は自分が欲しかった場所が取れたので満足してたみたい。あと２週間程で畑は農作業が出来るようになる。母は何を植えようかと興奮気味だった。 We rent a garden lot from Richmond city. カナダのDIYセンターはすごい。メガでかい！北米人は大抵なんでも自分でやってしまう。昨日は友人夫婦がベットルームの絨毯をフローリングに変えるので、材料を買いに行った。家を建てるのにないものはないという程の品揃え。ドアまで売ってるよ。 Canadian DIY shops are amazing. Mega huge! これはバンクーバーオペラの蝶々婦人のポスターです。バンクーバーオペラのポスターはどのポスターも綺麗だなぁと見てたんですけど、Marco Tulioというバンクーバー在住の画家さんでした。Simon Patrich Gallery で彼の作品が見れます。今度行ってみたいな。オペラも見たことないので、見てみたいな。 This is a poster for “Madame Butterfly” presented by the Vancouver Opera.
