Down with Love
2003年にリリースされた、“Down with Love” (邦題：恋は邪魔者)を観た。1960年のニューヨークを舞台にした、ラブ・コメディ。Ewan McGregorの髪型が疑問でしたが、ストーリーは面白いどんでん返しの結末がありました。俳優達が着ているキッチュなドレスと、セットにあるミッドセンチュリーな家具が素敵だった。 We watched a film called “Down with Love” which was released in 2003. Madge
夫がMadgeのニューアルバムをくれた。Madge（マッジ）とはMadonnaのイギリスでのニックネーム。本人はこのニックネームが大嫌いなんだって。Madonnaは４７歳でも綺麗ですね。ニューアルバムの音楽は８０年代っぽくて、すごいかっこいいです。こちら (MadonnaのHP、写真が素敵！）で試聴できます。 夫が言うには、プロデューサーのStuart Priceが良いらしい。彼はZoot Womanというバンドもやっている。彼らのアルバムを聴いてみたら、好きになった。ダウンタウンで一番大きいお店にアルバムを買いに行ったけど、置いてなかった。Zulu Recordsに買いに行くしかないな。こちらで試聴できます。 夫のアイスホッケーの試合見に行ってきま〜す。 My husband bought me Madge’s new album. Long time no see, blue sky!

Particles of Fog?
昨晩、カメラを夜の空に向けて、フラッシュを焚いて写真を撮ったら、霧の粒子みたいなのが撮れました。I took a picture of the night sky with flash last night, and it looks like particles of fog.

Presents from our old friend…
ロンドンで一緒に住んでいた古き良き友達と彼女のダンナ様からプレゼントが届いた。一つは「きょうの猫村さん」というマンガ。猫が家政婦という設定。すごい面白くて、最初から最後までニヤニヤしながら読んだ。久しぶりに笑いのツボを連打された。２巻早くでないかな〜。お試し版はこちらから読めます。 この本の表紙にラベルがついています。 「私はとても特別な本。。。世界中を旅しているの。。。Bookcrossing.comに行ってみて。」と書いてある。Bookcrossing.comとは、世界中の本を共有しようという運動。読んだ本にラベルを付けて、友達に渡したり、駅やカフェなどに放置されることもある。本は人から人へと読みつがれ、世界中を旅する。本の感想はBookcrossing.comのサイトで書き込め、その本を読んだ人全員が読めるようになっています。楽しそうですね。 もう一つのプレゼントは猫つづきで、Alessiのボトルオープナー。Alessiのデザインって、ユーモアがあっていいですよね。うちでは、ビール瓶を開けることが多い（笑）ので、大活躍しそうです。 心のこもったプレゼント、ほんとにどうもありがとう！！！ We received presents from our good old friend and her husband.
