今日は母の日。日本とカナダは同じ日だけど、イギリスではイースターの一週間前らしい、今年は３月６日だった。今日は母とランチを食べに行った。 Today is mother’s day. Canadian mother’s day is the same date as Japanese, but British one is one week before the Easter, which was March 6th this year. 日曜日は母上のお抱え運転手だった。リッチモンドで、いつもの飲茶を食べて、スーパーで買い物。リッチモンドの中国系スーパーはバンクーバーより物価が安いし、日本食品がたくさん買えるのが嬉しい。その後、１００円ショップのダイソーへ向う。こちらでは、一品２ドル（約１６０円）だが、それでも安い。このダイソーは２階建ての大きいお店で、豊富な品揃えは見事。地元の人達にもとても人気がある。１時間はあっという間にすぎた。楽しすぎ！ I was my mother’s chauffer on Sunday.
